Aniimo Sparkling Guide: Cubes, Sigils, Pigments & Style Odds
Choose a Sparkling method around the Aniimo you want to keep. A Sparkling Cube is used during capture or hatching; Sparkling Sigils can turn a normal appearance into a random Sparkling style; Sparkling Pigment changes an existing Sparkling style. Dazzling and Shadow odds depend on the method and, for eggs, whether the egg came from Operation: Egg Heist.

Cube, Sigil or Pigment: choose the right item
The item names describe different actions. Spending Sigils on a Pigment is not the same as using the normal-to-Sparkling conversion. Check the selected companion and the before-and-after appearance panel before confirming.
A random style result does not let you select Dazzling or Shadow directly. If you already like the current appearance, keep it rather than assuming another attempt will be an improvement.
| Item | When to use it | Decision before spending |
|---|---|---|
| Sparkling Cube | Capture an eligible world target or use during hatching. | Check the exact target or egg source and the resulting style probabilities. |
| Sparkling Sigil | Convert a normal appearance into a random Sparkling appearance. | Choose the companion you want to keep; the appearance-change panel requires 10 Sigils. |
| Sparkling Pigment | Change the Sparkling style of an Aniimo that is already Sparkling. | Exchange 5 Sigils for one Pigment at the Outpost Vendor, then decide whether to replace the current style. |
Sparkling style probabilities by acquisition method
These percentages describe the resulting Sparkling style for the listed method. They are not the chance of finding a wild Sparkling Aniimo, the chance that an ordinary egg contains one or the chance of successfully capturing an ineligible target.
For Sigil conversion and Pigment changes, Dazzling and Shadow are each 0.50%. Their combined share is 1%; neither individual style has a 1% chance on those two routes.
Read the egg-source row before using a Cube. The two egg rows have the same Common percentage but different rare-style outcomes.
| Method | Common | Dazzling | Shadow |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sparkling Cube: world capture | 99% | 1% | 0% |
| Sparkling Cube: egg not from Operation: Egg Heist | 99% | 1% | 0% |
| Sparkling Cube: egg from Operation: Egg Heist | 99% | 0% | 1% |
| Sparkling Sigil appearance conversion | 99% | 0.50% | 0.50% |
| Sparkling Pigment style change | 99% | 0.50% | 0.50% |
Turn an existing companion Sparkling with Sigils
Keep appearance decisions separate from your training plan. The Sigil conversion is not a replacement for raising Potential, training capabilities or choosing an evolution branch. A desirable appearance and a useful combat setup are different goals.
- Choose the Aniimo whose appearance you want to change. Confirm that this is the companion you intend to keep, rather than a duplicate selected by mistake.
- Open Sparkling Sigil use and select an eligible normal-appearance Aniimo from the companion list.
- Check that the preview shows Normal changing to a random Sparkling appearance. Compare your owned amount with the 10-Sigil cost.
- Confirm only when you accept a random result. This menu is an appearance conversion, not a choice of a particular Sparkling style.
- Inspect the resulting appearance and keep it if you like it. Further style changes use the Pigment route rather than another normal-appearance conversion.
Exchange Sigils for a Sparkling Pigment
Do not turn the 1% combined rare-style share into a promise that 100 attempts will produce the appearance you want. The table gives probabilities for the method, not a fixed number of purchases or a guaranteed spending target.
- Visit the Outpost Vendor and find Sparkling Pigment in the exchange list.
- Check the exchange cost: one Pigment requires 5 Sparkling Sigils. Compare that expense with any 10-Sigil normal-to-Sparkling conversion you are saving for.
- Use the Pigment on the Sparkling Aniimo whose style you want to change, checking the selected target before confirmation.
- Treat the result as random. Dazzling and Shadow are each 0.50% on this route, so a new attempt is not a guaranteed upgrade.
Sparkling, Prismana and Potential are different checks
A Sparkling Cube’s capture use must still respect target eligibility. Do not spend time trying to bypass a capture-prohibited state just because an item has a guaranteed-success capture entry.
Before a valuable capture or appearance change, decide which goals matter for this particular companion: ownership, form, training or appearance. That makes it easier to choose the correct item without confusing one system’s benefit with another.
Separate capture restrictions from the multiplier and guaranteed-success entries.
Follow the Prismana acquisition routeKeep Prismana goals separate from Sparkling style rolls.
| Goal | What to inspect |
|---|---|
| A different Sparkling style | The appearance method and its Common/Dazzling/Shadow distribution. |
| A Prismana form | The species’ Prismana acquisition and form requirements. |
| Better combat attributes | Potential and the relevant training system. |
| Capture an Alpha | Defeat and eligibility conditions before selecting a capture item. |
| Better Alpha held equipment | Player-title held-item rarity distribution, not the appearance table. |
