Nimbi is wind with the Support role. The skills below describe Basic Form; a different form may have a different kit.

Use Puff Up for height and an airborne dash

Puff Up increases jump height and allows one dash while airborne. The Basic Form also lists Fly Lv.1. These give Nimbi an exploration role beyond its combat classification.

Practice the movement action before a risky crossing and check your available resources. The listed ability does not establish unlimited flight or unrestricted height.

Prepare four basic attacks, then choose a skill

After four basic attacks, Nimbi enters Shrouded in Mist. Casting a skill consumes the state to improve that skill. Plan which benefit you want before spending it.

Cloud Orb costs 10 and has power 30; the mist-enhanced hit creates a larger explosion dealing 180% Might. Thunder Bolt also costs 10 with power 30, while its enhanced explosion deals 120% Might. These are the listed enhanced effects, not flat damage numbers for every level.

Cloud Shield protects Nimbi itself

Cloud Shield costs 20 EP. Its description protects the user; selecting a Support-role companion does not make this shield a party-wide buff. Spend the prepared mist state on it when Nimbi needs to survive or manage stamina, rather than automatically consuming the state on an attack.

When to keep Nimbi in the team

Keep it for movement utility and its own defensive option while exploring. In a difficult fight, compare that utility with another element or role you need more urgently. A starter team can use Nimbi without requiring that it improve every teammate’s damage.
